Equipment Requirements
Reenacting is not a cheap hobby, and the process of building an impression can be daunting; to help, 82nd has divided each impression to make the process more manageable. We are constantly improving and looking for new innovative ways to equip members with the most accurate equipment possible. The unit prides itself in the authenticity of our members, and seek to help new members get equipped as inexpensively and accurately as possible. We have broken up our main impression into four sections or Tiers as follows:
Our basic impression is a stripped down combat uniform, typical of paratroopers after the battle of Biazza Ridge, it is a particularly useful impression as the equipment in this impression was used by the 82nd Airborne throughout the entire war. Members will be provided with a buyer's guide with information on where to acquire equipment upon joining.
